Great hotel location but not pram friendly

全季酒店(上海外滩九江路店) Great value for money hotel for adult travellers. Not recommended for family with kids that need to use strollers as the pavement in front of the hotel are obstructed with bike sharing bikes and most of the time we have to walk on the road to get to the hotel or to the metro station. Location is good, as it is just beside the main walking street of Nanjing East Road. When you step out of the hotel door, look left and you can see the Pearl Tower. The metro station is just around the corner with 5mins walk. Taking taxi is a challenge at the hotel, it’s recommended to cross to other side to get in and out of the taxi, as the road at the hotel entrance is painted solid yellow while the opposite side is broken yellow. (Solid yellow line cannot stop for pick up and drop off) There are some small eateries just beside the hotel. Or you can choose to order take out and get the front desk to use the robot to send to your room. Skip the hotel breakfast, they will try to sell you during check in, but really just very local breakfast like plain porridge, noodles, and preserves veg and salted eggs. Their international selection are some bread, pastry, sausages and hard boiled egg. Coffee is diluted and all we had there was milk for my daughter breakfast cereal we bought from the supermarket. And by the time we came down around 830am, most of the food had been finished. Many shopping malls along nanjing east road has food hall in the building. There is also supermarket at the Diamaru mall which also feature the curve escalator. There is a small laundry room at level 6 which you need to get another access card from front desk to go up. There is only 1 washer and 1 dryer. Need to queue and take turn to use with the other guest. Detergent were provided. Overall if you are willing to pay a bit more, there are other international hotels along Nanjing East Road walking street. I will not recommend to my friends nor book this place again myself.
