We highly recommend visiting this location #shanghaimuseumeast Free admission, beautiful architecture, excellent exhibits. You will see a collection of ancient bronze and ceramics. I was especially pleased with the inconspicuous interactive board on the 3rd floor. It compares the history of painting in Europe and China. This is an excellent timeline that shows what works were created by Chinese artists during the time of the Byzantine icon, Giotto, Ilya Repin and the magnificent Van Gogh. You will understand the history of the development of Chinese painting and see what modern authors create up until the end of the twentieth century. And take a coffee with print of bronze! Or the tiramisu dessert, which looks like an ancient bronze cauldron
