#summervacay Shanghai has truly surprised me with this treasure of a library! The Shanghai Library East is so stunning, I feel like I could easily spend an entire day here just lost in a book. The views are absolutely breathtaking! A Reader's Paradise on the 3rd Floor The 3rd floor, in particular, offers unparalleled beauty. With its expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows, the natural light is incredible. There are plenty of power outlets, and everyone is engrossed in their studies, creating a wonderfully focused atmosphere. On the other side of the 3rd floor, you'll find a striking teardrop-shaped art installation called "Companionship" (陪伴). It symbolizes water's gentle nature yet its immense power to create everything. Beyond the Books Right next to the library is Century Park, offering a perfect escape if you need a break from reading. You can head down to stretch your legs, get some fresh air, and reconnect with nature. While the 3rd floor requires a reservation, other floors of the library do not. And if you get hungry while reading, there's a Manner Coffee downstairs where you can grab some coffee and pastries.
