[Yamaguchi, Shimonoseki] Experience walking through the sea and crossing prefectural borders👣

The Kanmon Strait lies between Yamaguchi Prefecture on Honshu and Fukuoka Prefecture on Kyushu. There is a large bridge that allows you to travel by car, but there is also a tunnel under the bridge, so you can cross the strait on foot! There is no toll if you walk across it. 😉 Take the elevator down and walk through the 780m tunnel to reach the other side.
