📍" Wat Prachakom Wanaram " (Roi Et) Or known as " Wat Pa Kung " Located in Sri Somdet District, Roi Et Province, it is a large pagoda made of natural sandstone, modeled after " Borobudur " in Indonesia. When the Venerable "Luang Pu Sri Mahawiro", a famous meditation master from the Northeast, went to perform religious duties in Indonesia, he went to pay homage to the Boro Dor Pagoda (Borom Buddha) on Java Island, and saw how grand and beautiful it was. Luang Pu was impressed and wanted to build one in Thailand. It is the first sandstone pagoda in Thailand.. And this place was built on March 5, 2004. The sand pagoda There are a total of 7 floors. 📍The first floor is a sandstone carving that tells the story of the last life of the Bodhisattva who practiced charity. 📍The 2nd and 3rd floors are sandstone carvings. But will tell the story about the life of Lord Buddha. 📍The 4th floor will be a sandstone carving in the shape of auspicious prayer. 📍The 5th floor, the round wall of the base of the pagoda, will be a picture of the 4 pilgrimage sites: birth, enlightenment, the first sermon, and nirvana. 📍The 6th floor is 8 secondary pagodas and 1 main pagoda. 📍The 7th floor will have a golden pagoda top weighing 101 baht, following the name of Roi Et province.
