Singapore is known as modern city state with its high rise buildings and modern architecture, but buried deep in the heart of the city is mac ritchie reservoir, singapore's oldest reservoir which was completed in 1868. The reservoir has several trails that you can easily complete in 3 to 5 hours where you can meet playful macaques and monitor lizards along the way. One of the highlights of the trek is the tree top walk on a suspension bridge which offers a birds eye view of the inhabitantants of the forest canopy. Aside from trekking other activites that u can enjoy are kayaking and fishing.
