Peranakan culture is basically a marriage between the Chinese and Malay/Indonesian cultures. There are different varieties of crockery and dish ware on display in wooden shelves that resemble those that were used back in the olden days. A traditional dress top is also preserved and displayed on the lobby wall. This hotel is great for those who appreciate that extra dose of local heritage in the form of art!
