good local cafe

Its a small place and the coffee was quite strong, rich, and had a unique character, definitely worth trying if you’re in the area. We noticed a sign that kindly stated that if customers planned to stay at the cafe for more than three hours, that they order another drink to help the business run - so just be mindful of this. Staff were genuinely accommodating and lovely. I also tried the smashed avocado toast with poached egg and bacon, the portion was generous and it tasted really good.
