Took a quiet stroll at the Lily Pond in Gardens by the Bay and it was such a peaceful spot amidst the greenery. #TravelTalk If anyone comes to visit Singapore and stops by Chinatown, I'd like you to try walking into "Buddha Tooth Relic Temple" once. It's like entering another world! Even though it's located in the middle of the chaos of the city, this temple gives a sense of peace, detail, and depth that you can really feel. 🏮 The first thing that impressed me was the authentic Chinese architecture, red and gold contrasting with the sky. No matter which angle you take a picture of, it looks full of faith. When you go inside, you'll see a large hall beautifully decorated with rows of Buddha statues, and the highlight is the "Buddha's Tooth Relic" enshrined on the top floor. #Let's talk about travel ✅Review of accommodation in Singapore, quiet area, good location, near bus and MRT, importantly, there is a cafe next to the accommodation, there is a restaurant, and there is a 7-Eleven nearby. 🏨 We stayed at Harbour Ville Hotel, Hamilton, which is near MRT Bendemeer DT23 (blue line, 300 meters walk) and the Bef Kallang Bahru bus stop in front of the accommodation. Very convenient 💸Cost We stayed here for 3 nights, a deluxe room with a queen bed with a window, booked through the Trip app for 8,929.42 (including tax), divided by 2, 4,464.71 baht per person, no deposit. If it's a different room, the price will be cheaper. You can check in at 3 pm and check out before 11 am. 🥰I really like this accommodation. I recommend it to everyone. -The receptionist is polite and speaks Thai very well. -The bedroom is not very large. There is enough space to walk and put things. -The room is clean, the air conditioner is cool, and they clean it every day. -What I like most is the bed. It's a super chic building with 927 colorful windows. Whether you take a straight shot, an angled shot, or a shot from the other side of the street, it's beautiful from every angle. And it's free! 🏢 It's a place where you feel like, "Oh, just visiting an old building is fun." You don't even have to go inside. Just walk around the building and you'll get a lot of photos. ⏰Recommended time to go: Go between 16.00 - 18.00. There are 16-story steel trees that are so beautiful that you have to stop and look. There is no entrance fee to the Supertree Grove zone 🌲 (unless you go up the OCBC Skyway), but just walking down is amazing. 🌠The highlight is the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show 🎶🎇 starting at 7:45 p.m. (again at 8:45 p.m.) with background music and lights that follow the rhythm, like being in a sci-fi movie. Aquarium Singapore 🫧 We went here because we wanted to find a place to chill on a rainy day. Then we read the reviews and this aquarium is "the largest in Asia"!! When we walked in, we were amazed!!! 🌊 We started with the glass tunnel zone. Giant sharks swam above our heads. Then, when we walked further, we saw jellyfish with lights that looked like art. 🎨 🐬 Our favorite part was the "Open Ocean" zone because it was like watching a 3D natural cinema. My first trip to Singapore with an unprepared budget but a willing heart ⸻ Going back almost ten years ago… I was staring at AirAsia’s promotional ticket for Bangkok–Singapore, round trip for 1,800 baht. The hand that pressed the booking button didn’t have a lot of money, but my heart wanted to “Go out and see the world once.” And that was my first international trip. The time I was the poorest…but I got the most in my life. ⸻ 💡 4 days 3 nights travel plan (for people who have no money but have heart) ⸻ 💤 Day 1 — Arrive at midnight, the airport is cold, but keep going • ✈️ Landed at Changi at midnight • No place to stay, so sat in front of McDonald’s all night, tried to sleep, but it was too cold to sleep • Traveled into the city in the morning by MRT • Passed Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands, but they were not open yet • Waited until 10am, then walked to find a very cheap street food shop • 🏨 Stayed at: 5footway.inn Project Chinatown 2 • Leave the bag first because you can’t check in yet • Good location, very close to MRT and Chinatown • 🛕 Continue to Buddha Tooth Relic Temple • Pray for a smooth journey And make life ahead better • 🦁 Walk to Merlion Park • Stand and look at the water-spouting lions, thinking to yourself, "Even though we don't have much... we've arrived." • 🌙 In the evening, come back to eat a single-dish meal at Chinatown and then take a nap to regain your strength. ⸻ 🏛 Day 2 — All-day museum and special meal with relatives • 🎟 Visit the National Museum of Singapore • If you like history and beautiful exhibitions, don't miss it. • Inside, there are both multimedia zones and interesting antiques. • Very suitable for those who are on a budget because the entrance fee is not expensive but you get a lot. • 🍲 Lunch: A relative who works in Singapore took me to eat Bak Kut Teh at a famous restaurant. • I was touched by both the taste and the kindness that helped fill the day of those who had no budget. • 💦 Walk in line at the Fountain of Wealth • The Fountain of Wealth... #Let's talk about travel We walked around Marina Bay Sands and found the "Sampan Ride" boat zone in the middle of The Shoppes shopping mall. I never thought that in the middle of a luxury shopping mall there would be a simulated canal for you to ride a boat like this! 🛶 🚣🏻♀️ Small wooden boats float in clear water through the Rain Oculus, which is like an open dome where water can fall down in circles. The atmosphere is really great. Even though we didn't get to ride the boat ourselves, just standing and watching makes us feel relaxed. ⏰ Recommended time to go: 13:00–17:00 The light shines beautifully. This mall is not a luxury mall, similar to Lotus or Big C in our country, but it is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and never turns off the lights. It is located in the heart of Little India. There is so much stuff. We walked around for hours and still couldn't finish it all! 🏬 This place is like a warehouse of products from many continents. The prices are better than other malls in Singapore for many things, including electronics, cheap authentic perfumes, great-priced drinks, clothes, toys, household items, and many more.
