Then moved on to the Asian corner—the fish congee was silky with condiments on the side, and the dim sum basket had char siew bao and siew mai that were freshly steamed and flavorful. I wasn’t planning on diving into the Indian station, but the aroma changed my mind—naan, tandoori chicken, and chickpea curry that was warm, spicy, and comforting. Definitely didn’t feel like buffet food, more like something you’d get at a proper tandoor kitchen. There was even a carving station serving up roast beef and pork belly, which felt pretty extra for breakfast but I wasn’t complaining.
