Speakers corner - The freedom of speech

The park is also one bus stop away from Chinatown point mall. The speakers corner is a place where freedom of speech is encouraged in Singapore. People can voice out their concern at that concern. At times, there would be events around the park. One such event would be the pink dot event happening every year during the Jun period. It is an event where the LGBT get together in harmony and celebrate this significant day.
