Sirindhorn Wararam Phu Phrao Temple

Wat Sirindhorn Wararam Phu Phrao, Ubon Ratchathani This temple is located on a high hill, imitating the environment of Wat Pa Himmapan or Khao Kailas. On the top of the hill, you can see the golden colored chapel. The chapel is modeled after Wat Xieng Thong in Laos, but is 1x wider and 2x longer. Each pillar is hand-painted with lotus and animal patterns on the outside, according to the four lotus traditions. The entrance is a sala tree, then a gooseberry tree, a tamarind tree, and the innermost is a bodhi tree. In the evening, there is a phenomenon called "the temple glows" behind the chapel. The green glowing pattern of the Kalpavriksha tree, which is a painting on the back wall of the chapel, as well as the pattern on the floor around the chapel.
