Wat Matchimawat Worawihan, Songkhla.

Located on Srithep Road, Mueang District, Songkhla Province, it is the largest and most important temple in Songkhla Province. This ancient temple is approximately 400 years old and was originally called Wat Yai Sri Chan, because it is said that Yai Sri–Chan, a wealthy local of Songkhla, dedicated money to build it. Later, temples were built to the north and the Wat Pho to the south, so the locals called Wat Yai Sri Chan 'Wat Klang' (Central Temple) until today, and it was renamed 'Wat Matchimawat' by Prince Vajiravudh during his visit to Songkhla in 1888. Additionally, the temple houses the Pattharasilp Museum, which contains various ancient artifacts collected from Songkhla, Sathing Phra, Ranot, and other areas, serving as important historical evidence worthy of study.
