Modern Nulang at Jamsil Sofitel

🔮 I recently visited Modern Nulang, a Chinese restaurant situated in Jamsil Sofitel. The space had an overall sophisticated and luxurious atmosphere, and the staff were polite and friendly. Despite visiting during lunch hours, the ambiance was quiet and calm, allowing for an enjoyable dining experience. 📍 The dishes I ordered were Seafood Jjamppong and Palbochae Rice Bowl. • The Seafood Jjamppong featured a clear and rich broth, offering a clean and non-greasy taste that left a strong impression. Unlike the spicy style commonly found in regular Chinese restaurants, this dish highlighted the natural flavors of the seafood, making it a refined version of Jjamppong. It was generously filled with octopus, shrimp, mussels, and other seafood, and the noodles were delightfully chewy. • The Palbochae Rice Bowl had a mild seasoning that allowed the individual flavors of the ingredients to shine. It included a balanced mix of vegetables and seafood, with a subtly savory sauce that complemented the dish. The harmony between the rice and the toppings made it a satisfying meal without being overwhelming. 🌳 While the prices were on the higher side, considering the quality of the ingredients and the ambiance of the space, they seemed reasonable. Overall, this is a recommended spot for enjoying clean and refined Chinese cuisine. I look forward to trying other dishes next time. 🍁
