Step into the ancient village of Songyang—Chenjiapeng Village

Chenjiapeng Village was established in the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties, with a history of over 600 years. It was named after the Chen family ancestors who built ash sheds here to raise ducks. The entire village is built along the mountainside, nestled against hills on three sides and facing a canyon, with an elevation drop of over 200 meters. Early residents utilized the natural terrain, constructing houses on stone-built platforms along the cliffs, forming a spectacular terraced traditional village.
