#createwithtrip The monumento a los Caidos del Cuartel de la Montana is a monument built to commemorates the two day Siege of the Montaña barracks, which marked the beginnings of the Spanish Civil War. The historical monument was created by Joaquín Vaquero Turcios and inaugurated in 1972, in memory of the men who died in the defense. It monument is a bronze sculpture of a figure representing the mutilated body of a man mutilated in the foreground of a wall built in the form of ground bags.
