【Fukuoka Gourmet】A Hidden Onigiri Café in Suemachi

🌿 I visited 'Omusubi Kororin,' a charming onigiri café located in Suemachi, Kasuya District 🍙 ̖́- Ever since it opened, I’ve wanted to go, but the narrow roads leading there made me hesitant to drive 🥺. Just when I was about to give up, a friend invited me along *⸜(* ॑꒳ ॑* )⸝* Yay! The café opens at 11:00 ⏰. Starting at 10:45, a tablet is set up for reservations. As I waited in line, more and more customers arrived, and before I knew it, there was a long queue 😳‼️ Only 50 meals are served daily‼️ There are five slots available for online reservations, but they were already fully booked. So, I started lining up 30 minutes early 🙌. I was the fifth group in line and got a slot for 11:50 🤔. If you register on LINE, you’ll receive notifications 📣, allowing you to wait in your car 😊. The café is a quaint old house nestled next to Sarayama Park 🍙 ̖́-. Surrounded by nature, it’s a truly relaxing space 𖤣𖠿𖤣 ✨. Inside, large windows offer views of lush greenery, creating a cozy and tranquil atmosphere 😮💨. There are both table seating and traditional Japanese-style sunken kotatsu seating 🙌. ＊A Set: 1,650 yen 🍙 Includes 2 onigiri, a main dish, salad, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), a small side dish, and miso soup 😋. 🍙 Options: Salmon Roe (+150 yen), Sukiyaki Egg Yolk (+350 yen) Main Dish: Fried Chicken (choose from 4 types ☝️) The onigiri fillings include classic options and monthly specials, with a total of 24 varieties to choose from—so many that it’s hard to decide 😵💫. The onigiri are so delicately made that they practically crumble when you pick them up 🥺. The generous fillings make them incredibly satisfying 💯. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy, while the small side dish and chawanmushi are absolutely delicious (◍˃ ᵕ ˂◍)︎💕︎.
