Recommended to drive or hire a private car (navigate to "Datuanyan"). About a 1-hour drive from the county town, with some narrow sections requiring cautious driving. We drove from Neijiang and arrived in 3 hours; it's just a 1.5-hour trip from Yibin. 2. Highlights (1) Majestic Wonder: Reach the summit to see giant natural cliffs towering over the mountain, creating a breathtaking sight. (2) Overlooking the Jinsha River: The mountaintop offers superb views of the winding Jinsha River and terraced fields, with misty clouds creating a fairy-tale atmosphere. (3) Primitive Hiking: Trek through bamboo groves and dense forests, full of wild charm (one-way hike takes about 40 minutes; wear anti-slip shoes). 3. Tips (1) Best Time: Spring and autumn (avoid rainy season), choose clear weather for the best summit views. (2) Safety First: The trail is undeveloped, so hike with companions; avoid rainy days to prevent slips and falling rocks.
