#Where to travel #Visit historical sites Sukhothai Historical Park Located in Mueang Sukhothai District, Sukhothai Province It has a wide area as far as the eye can see. And importantly, it was registered as a cultural heritage by UNESCO in 1991. It is a relatively complete historical site, allowing the younger generation to visit and study the stories of the past. Wat Chang Lom Wat Chang Lom (Sukhothai Historical Park) is a temple outside the city walls on the east side, Tambon Mueang Kao, Amphoe Mueang Sukhothai, Sukhothai Province. It has a history of being built to dedicate to King Maha Thammaracha I around the 20th century. The highlight is the Sri Lankan-style pagoda or inverted bell, surrounded by elephants, similar to the Wat Sorasak pagoda (with a single-tiered elephant surround) and another Wat Chang Lom pagoda in Si Satchanalai Historical Park, but different in that it has a two-tiered elephant-surrounded base, in a relatively complete condition.
