Recommended Destination Near Shanghai: Suzhou

Shanghai has become very popular recently, which means it's crowded and hotel prices are quite high 😭. However, Suzhou, a city just a 30-minute train ride from Shanghai, is clean, quiet, and full of attractions, so I highly recommend it! Hotels in Suzhou are much cheaper than in Shanghai, and the rooms are very spacious. I stayed in a Suzhou hotel for 3 nights and 4 days, and spent my arrival and departure days exploring Shanghai. Even if your main destination is Shanghai, Suzhou is only 30 minutes away by train, making it perfect for a day trip! Highly recommend Suzhou 👍🏻
