#AbsolutelyFreeTrip Lion Forest in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, is the second most popular garden in Suzhou after Humble Administrator's Garden. In the center of the pond is the Lakeside Pavilion, and the huge rock formations made of Taihu stones in front of it are a distinctive feature of the garden. The former name of Lion Forest was Shizilin, but it was created by the Yuan dynasty monk Tianru to commemorate his master, and later the garden was renamed Shizilin as the numerous lion-shaped stones in the garden were also famous.
