Holiday Inn Suzhou Huirong Plaza! Underrated...

For a Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai staycation, you really don't need to exclusively choose luxury hotels. This time in Suzhou, I stayed at the Holiday Inn under the InterContinental Hotels Group - Holiday Inn Suzhou Huirong Plaza. The stay experience was perfect, and I genuinely feel it's underrated🤔... The hotel is right at the entrance of Suzhou New District High-Speed Rail Station. It's very close to Exit 3 or Exit 6 of Suzhou New District Railway Station on Metro Line 6, just a step away from the station👍. 🏠 Guest Room: This time, I stayed in a Deluxe King Room—cozy and elegant with ample space. The pillows were even labeled as soft and firm, showing great attention to detail👍. Coinciding with rainy weather, it was perfect for lounging around all day hhh; toiletries and bathrobes were plentiful, making it comfortable to work out and shower😌. 🍲 Dining: 🌈 Chinese Restaurant Huirong Xiaoyan - Jin Chinese Restaurant has been awarded the Golden Phoenix Popular Restaurant, Golden Phoenix One-Star Restaurant, and Suzhou Flavor Recommended Restaurant. The second floor features 23 elegant Chinese-style private dining rooms, ideal for business or family and friend gatherings. 🌈 Jintang Noodle House: When in Suzhou, you must try authentic Suzhou-style noodles🤔. Food enthusiasts come in a steady stream. Highly recommend the popular set: Suzhou Noodle Four Treasures. It includes shrimp, braised pork, stir-fried vegetables, marinated duck, and various side dishes. Truly, only in Suzhou can you taste this😆... 🌈 Breakfast: The restaurant offers a rich breakfast buffet with a wide variety of Chinese and Western options, including all the Suzhou flavors you could want. I had been craving savory soy milk and finally satisfied myself with a big bowl. 🏋️ Facilities: The hotel is fully equipped with a gym and an indoor heated pool. What guy doesn’t love spending a day at the gym😆? A good afternoon workout to build some muscle is great👍. The pool had quite a few kids taking swimming lessons, but it wasn’t overly crowded. 🌳 Recommended Activities: ✅ AEON Mall: A huge commercial complex right next to the hotel with all kinds of dining options—I loved it😆. Just cross the street from the hotel, and you’re there. So convenient for shopping. ✅ IKEA: The one in Shanghai is too far from home, but this Suzhou location is right by the hotel. Perfect for a leisurely afternoon stroll with friends or family👍. ✅ Plaza: Suzhou New District Railway Station Garden Plaza features beautiful floral landscapes, leisure benches, and walking paths—a great spot for a walk or jog. ‼️ Advantages: 🔥 Prime location with a strong experience; 🔥 High cost-performance, budget-friendly; 🔥 Business-oriented hotel with comprehensive facilities. 📍: No. 21 Chengji Road, Suzhou New District
