Tainan Historic Site-Chihkan Tower Chihkan Tower was originally built by the Dutch. The early Han Chinese called the Dutch "red-haired", so they also called Chihkan Tower the Red-haired Tower or the Fanzi Tower. Currently, Chihkan Tower is listed as a national historic site and is also a representative scenic spot in Tainan. The cultural relics and buildings of Chihkan Tower have gone through the Dutch, Ming Zheng and Qing dynasties. It was first built in 1650.
