A century-old sugar factory transformed into a magical wonderland.

In April, I took my kids to "Ten Drum Rende Sugar Cultural and Creative Park" in Tainan, and discovered that this place is absolutely amazing! Can you believe an old sugar factory can turn into a magical playground? This place used to be a candy factory, but now it’s an adventure world resembling a magical school! Step into the "Magic Factory," and it feels like entering a classroom at a wizarding school, with spinning gears, mysterious lighting, floating props, and enchanting sound and light effects. There’s even a super cool "Magic Climbing Wall"! The wall is adorned with colorful handholds that look like magical stones, crystal candies, or dragon scales. Kids can queue up, gear up with safety equipment, and follow the staff’s instructions to climb up! The archery experience area is also a hit with the kids. The bows and arrows are specially designed for training, with soft cushion tips that are safe to use. The ground is marked with standing zones, and there are safety barriers to ensure no interference between participants. Another highlight is the drumming experience. In a large classroom with over a hundred participants, kids can follow the instructor and drum together, creating an atmosphere full of energy and enthusiasm! If you have extra time, try paddling to see the ducks "Coco" and "Ai Ai." Kids might struggle to handle the bamboo poles, so adults might need to put in more effort. Don’t miss the "Dream Sugar Theater"—the performances are absolutely spectacular! Weekends tend to be crowded, so it’s best to arrive early to secure a good spot. When you’re tired, you can relax at the "Honey Bridge Café." This café used to be a giant container for sugar syrup but has now been transformed into a cozy coffee shop. If you’re still not ready to leave, you can purchase a starlight ticket to enjoy the park at night. As the lights illuminate the entire area, it transforms into a magical world, sparkling and dreamy!
