The Aurora Haven in the City Harbor｜Taipei Hanlai Hotel

Hanlai Hotel has made its way to Taipei, bringing the grandeur of Kaohsiung Harbor to the northern region. Among its many features, the infinity pool became the most delightful surprise of my visit. Located on a high floor, the pool area offers expansive views—during the day, you can see the harbor stretching to distant mountain ranges, while at night, the twinkling lights create an atmosphere reminiscent of a Nordic seaport. The poolside design combines modern style with tropical vibes, making it perfect for both photography and quiet relaxation. The pool water is at a comfortable temperature, and the surrounding area is equipped with private cabanas and lounge chairs, providing a sense of thoughtful care. I particularly enjoyed swimming at night, with my body immersed in the water, the dazzling Taipei skyline before my eyes, and only the sound of water and a gentle breeze in my ears. Such an evening is not just the highlight of a trip but feels like a spiritual ritual.
