Staying at Fulu Residence in Taipei completely redefined my perception of hotels! Nestled in a quiet corner of Da'an District, the gray-and-white building with large floor-to-ceiling windows exudes a modern yet warm and inviting vibe. Upon entering, I was immediately drawn to the open bookshelf and the aroma of hand-brewed coffee. The front desk offers free city maps and a list of local recommendations. The rooms feature a natural wood tone, with amenities from L'Occitane and vintage black-and-white photos of old Taipei adorning the bedside. My favorite spot was the rooftop terrace—sitting on a beanbag chair at night, watching the fireworks from Taipei 101, and sipping the house-special "Taipei Mist" tea, I felt completely relaxed. Just a 5-minute walk to Yongkang Street, yet quieter than most hotels. The breakfast, featuring taro thick toast and handmade rice milk, was a delightful surprise.
