The Taipei Performing Arts Center was designed by Pritzker Architecture Prize winner, Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas. The building, which looks like a fusion of spheres and cubes, has attracted a lot of attention. The large theater inside can accommodate 1,500 people, and the two medium theaters can accommodate 800 people. The three theaters can operate independently or be combined into a super-large theater with a capacity of 2,300 people.
