The fourth geological park in Taiwan, the Eastern Coast Fugang Geopark covers an area of about 6 square kilometers. Here you can see soft and hard sandstone, shale interlayers, and inclined strata. Due to the weathering of the rock strata, various strange rocks have been created. Among them, the big-eyed frog, camel rock, and turtle rock are the most famous. Want to feel the connection between people and local customs? The first step to get to know Chihshang Township is a bag of rice given by a neighbor. Chihshang is the rice town of Taiwan and a famous tourist attraction in the Hualien-Taitung Valley.
