Short Hike Big Payoff at Baoshi Mountain

#chinatravel Swung by 報時山 (Baoshi Mountain) in New Taipei City and it was one of those hikes that’s super short but totally delivers. The trail is more of a quick walk than a real hike, maybe 10 to 15 minutes tops, but once you get up there the views are amazing. You get this awesome overlook of the coast, mountains, and even parts of Jiufen if the sky’s clear. Perfect photo spot and a great place to just chill and enjoy the breeze. There’s also a little pavilion up there where you can sit down and snack or just zone out. It’s an easy one to add to a day trip if you’re already exploring the area. No need for fancy gear, just comfy shoes and maybe a water bottle. If you’re in New Taipei City and want a quick nature hit with zero stress and big views, Baoshi Mountain is a must. Fast, easy, and totally worth the climb.
