Alpine Route in June

Ticked this off my bucket list to see the snow walls that are opened to visitors from April to June each year. Visibility was bad on the day we went but the whole experience was still pretty amazing. Joined a day tour to get there and it was quite an experience to walk the trail, even though we didn't get to see the beautiful lake. The snow walls made up for it though. Must do if you are in Japan during this time!
