At the foot of Tengchong Volcano, I stayed in my dream accommodation.

Who can relate? I didn't want to be in a crowd during the Lunar New Year, so I went to Tengchong, a small border town in Yunnan, and it was amazing! I also found a great homestay - Tengchong Bodu, which made my trip even better. 💯 📍 It is hidden in the Gaoligong Mountains, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, accompanied by volcanoes and nature. The homestay looks like a castle, giving it a fairy tale feel. 🏰 It perfectly combines local traditional architectural elements with modern comfort, creating a warm and peaceful atmosphere. Each room has a volcanic stone pool with authentic Tengchong hot spring water, not the "technological" kind. It's so enjoyable. ♨️ Some rooms have private terraces, where you can get up close and personal with the spectacular volcano and the fresh mountain forest. 🌄 If you don't have a terrace, don't worry, the homestay has a viewing platform. This thoughtful service deserves a thumbs up. 👍 The homestay terrace is also a great place to watch the sunrise over the volcano, and it's a great place to take photos. 📸 Lying in the homestay, watching the clouds roll by, I feel so relaxed that I could "retire" here!
