It is within walking distance from Saladeang BTS Station too. If you walk towards the main Silom Road, you'll also come across a big 7-11 outlet as well as a host of local street food stalls that serve delicious local Thai cuisine at really affordable prices (eat like a local too !). I will usually order takeaway, keep some in the fridge and enjoy the food as and when I want by heating it up. Of course, there are also eateries and roadside cafes if you prefer a better dining experience or simply walk to Silom Complex for a host of Japanese dining options. For my stay here, I actually booked a 1 Bedroom Suite but was pleasantly upgraded to their huge Duplex unit. It's a double storey semi-detached unit with a living area with full sofa set, dining area with a self service kitchenette if you need to cook, and two rooms with ensuite baths ! I chose to take my rest on the upper level unit. And did I mention this duplex comes complete with its very own patio/terrace and garden too ? Other amenities include : - Full kitchen with stove, oven, fridge and cooking utensils - Double storey building with parquet stairs and windows looking out to the patio - Super comfortable king sized bed - Bathroom with a deep soaking bathtub and separate shower - Flat-screen TV with cable channels at both living room and within your room - Complimentary Wifi So if you have time to spare, you can buy fresh ingredients from the Saladeang Wet Market and cook for yourself as this apartment is well equipped. You can also choose to relax @ the swimming pool too or simply enjoy the peace and quiet over coffee in your own private patio and terrace garden. Believe me, the private garden is sizeable and it almost feels like living in your own private property. As the location is near a primary school, and local housing, night time is peaceful and quiet. So you can simply retreat to your room and have a good night's rest without any interruption. During your stay, you can also : - Take a walk to the Lumphini Park - Go to Silom Complex for some nice restaurant food like Ippudo, Farm Factory, After You, Coco ichibanya etc. - Walk to the nearby Patpong Night Market for souvenir hunting - Local massage at Thai Prime - Enjoy the nightlife entertainment that is unique to Bangkok. For eg : DJ Station, internationally well known dance club and is always packed with local and overseas party goers - Take a river ride and visit Icon Siam Note : Traffic can be congested during peak hours so take the BTS if you intend to move around. Tuk tuk is also convenient when compared to private vehicles. For departure to the airport, factor in extra time in case of delays along the highway. #staycation #culturewalk
