Ban E Tong is a small community hidden in the mist of Pilok Subdistrict, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province. This community used to be the location of Pilok Mine. When the mineral industry was booming in 1940, it was full of markets for villagers to do business. There were also 2 movie theaters. But then the prosperity of Pilok Mine ended between 1984-1985 (I was not born yet 😅) which was a result of the global mineral prices falling, making this community quiet. Today, Ban E Tong community has become a natural tourist attraction and homestay accommodation for travelers, including You can also pitch a tent to sleep. . I like it a lot. I stayed for 4 days and still feel like staying longer 😆 But oh well, I came back to work 555555 . There are many prices for accommodation. Most of them are fan rooms because they use generators.
