Gotokuji Temple

#2024wish Gotoku-ji is a Buddhist temple located in the Gotokuji district of Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, Japan. This is a 'Lucky Cat' Temple and a must visit for cat lovers! It is said to be the birthplace of the maneki-neko, or "luck-inviting cat figurine". There are many different types of maneki-neko raising either their right or left paws, but Gotokuji Temple specializes in the right-pawed version which is a good-luck symbol. Gotokuji is a quiet Temple located outside the noisy center of Tokyo and is the perfect stop for any cat-lover interested in Japanese culture and history. The address is 2-24-7, Gotokuji, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, 154-0021. Nearest station is Miyanosaka Station on Tokyu Setagaya Line and 5 minutes on foot. Opening hours is from 9am to 4.30pm. I wish to go Hawaii! #tripblazers #mytripvlog #japan
