"Radio Calisthenics Square" brightens up the mornings in Ueno Park 🌅🧘‍♂️

The Radio Exercise Square in Ueno Park is a popular place for people to get healthy, gathering early in the morning. Located about a 5-minute walk from the JR Ueno Station Park Exit, radio exercises are held every morning from 6:30. This square has been active since 1952, and currently about 300 people participate.  The square is home to a bronze statue erected to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of radio exercises, giving visitors a sense of history and tradition. In addition, the Bronze Statue Memorial Radio Exercise Tournament is held every year on the Vernal Equinox, and is crowded with many participants.   In this square, surrounded by the nature of Ueno Park, you can refresh both your body and mind by moving your body while feeling the fresh morning air.
