Once inside, it’s like leaving the hustle and bustle of the city in an instant and entering an elegant and serene Japanese-style space and time🌿🎐. The building of the museum was designed by the well-known architect Kengo Kuma. It is simple and sleek. Even the entrance promenade has a Zen flavor, and it is very photogenic🖼️. The museum houses a large collection of East Asian artworks, including Buddha statues, bronzes, calligraphy and painting, tea sets, etc., most famously their collection of national treasure-grade "Swallow Flower Screen" (the work of Ito Wakacho)💙. Even if you’re not usually an art fan, you’ll be deeply attracted by its presentation! ⸻ 🌿 Fantasy garden is a must-see highlight! Remember to go down to the backyard after seeing the exhibits! The entire garden is built along the mountains, with tea rooms, stone bridges, small ponds, bamboo forests and moss carpets, and a casual walk already feels like you are in Kyoto🌸🍃. I also took a super beautiful photo, the background is the tea room + reflected water view, really a god-class photo spot📸. ⸻ ☕ Quiet afternoon tea time The on-site Café "NEZUCAFÉ" is worth sitting and chilling for a while!
