【Tokyo Asakusa】Limited-time Peach Shaved Ice Near Senso-ji Temple

I heard that the limited-time peach shaved ice has started, so I went to check it out! Even though it was a weekday afternoon, there were about two groups waiting in line, and I waited for about 10 minutes before entering. Payment is made first, and cashless payment is accepted. Each person is required to order at least one item. I ordered the peach shaved ice and added the shop's specialty, shiratama (rice flour dumplings), as a topping. The shop seems to have seating on the second floor as well, but I was seated at a table in the back of the first floor. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the long-awaited shaved ice arrived! It came with four slices of sweet peach and syrup with peach pulp that wasn’t overly sweet—absolutely delightful. The shiratama was wonderfully chewy, and I think I could have added a bit more. The tea and palate-cleansing salted kelp were refined and delicious as well. Overall, it was a highly satisfying experience.
