Zojoji Temple, located in Tokyo's Minato-ku, is a serene temple nestled among towering skyscrapers in the bustling city. The harmony between the temple grounds and the nearby Tokyo Tower was particularly striking. The coexistence of traditional wooden structures and the modern urban landscape felt unique, both in photographs and in person. As a historic site housing the Tokugawa family mausoleum, the atmosphere was solemn and tranquil.
