The final resting place of the Ako Roshi Mōri Garden

Mori Garden, Remains of Mori Kai no Kami Residence A historic site in Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo, the former site of Mori Tsunamoto's Azabu residence. Currently, the Mori Garden in Roppongi Hills is an urban oasis. There is a signpost next to the gourd pond indicating that it is the former site. Ten of the 47 Ako Roshi who attacked Kira Kozukenosuke's residence were taken care of at the Mori residence. (I'm watching reruns of Chushingura over the New Year holidays, which makes me a little sad) There are ducks in the pond, and the cherry blossoms and autumn leaves are beautiful, so before COVID-19, flower viewing parties and beer gardens were held here.
