Hubei Tongshan Xizhuang Ancient Village

Shiwukeng is a natural village under Xizhuang Village, renowned for its blue-brick architecture, Confucian culture, and ancient alley layout. It preserves Qing Dynasty brick-and-stone dwellings like the Meng Family Ancestral Hall, "Clear Waters and Breezy Woods," and "Lofty Mansion in the Clouds," along with traditional architectural elements such as flagstone piers. The village boasts simple folk customs that emphasize integrity and harmony, with its architecture showcasing a blend of practicality and natural aesthetics. It is listed in the fifth batch of China's Traditional Villages.
