Climbing Mount Bromo Crater

🌋 Climbing Mount Bromo Crater (Mount Bromo Crater) This is one of the highlights of the Bromo trip! You’ll get to walk all the way up to the edge of the crater, which is still active. From there, you can look down and see sulfur smoke rising closely from the mouth of the crater! --- 🚶♂️ Details of the climb: 1. Starting from the Sea of Sand After watching the sunrise, tourists will take a Jeep down to the Sea of Sand. From there, you can either walk or ride a horse to the base of Mount Bromo (approximately 1.5–2 km). 2. Climbing up to the crater rim The path up consists of about 250 steps. It takes around 15–30 minutes to climb (depending on your fitness level 😅). Once you reach the top, you’ll be standing at the edge of the crater without any barriers (so be cautious!). --- 🧠 Warnings: The Bromo crater continuously emits sulfur smoke. If the wind is strong, you may need to wear a mask or cover your face.
