Affordable and atmospheric upstairs skewer restaurant

My partner has recently become obsessed with skewers 🍡, so we’ve been going out for them quite often~ Today, we visited an upstairs skewer restaurant at The Hart 🔥~ Although it’s not a street-level shop, it’s still incredibly packed because the prices are so reasonable, with skewers starting at just HK$10 each 😋! Their grilled zucchini is super juicy 💦~ It’s a popular choice all night, and you can often see the chef grilling zucchini 🥒~ Another must-try affordable option is the pork and lychee roll 🐷, with three pieces per skewer~ The lychee is sweet, and paired with the savory pork, it’s a perfect match 👍~ We loved it so much that we ordered a second round~ My personal favorite is the squid tentacles 🦑, which are delightfully crispy~ They’re grilled to have a slightly charred tip, making them both crunchy and flavorful 😍~ Another skewer you must try is the beef tongue 👅~ The beef tongue here is tender and seasoned with a hint of black pepper 🧂~ I have to say, the chef’s seasoning is spot-on 👍, no need for extra flavoring, and it’s not overly salty~ I also really enjoyed the minced chicken stick 🐔~ It contains a bit of cartilage, giving it a nice crunch~ Paired with the rich and sweet flavor of fresh egg yolk 🥚, it’s truly memorable~ The garlic grilled oysters are also very tempting 🦪, priced at HK$48 for two, and they’re plump and meaty~ Topped with plenty of garlic 🧄~ One bite, including the oyster juice, can only be described as fresh~ The Japanese-style yam is quite unique, featuring a crispy fried coating with a crunchy interior 🤩~ It comes with a side of egg yolk sauce~ But I prefer dipping it in the chicken stick’s egg soy sauce for a richer and more flavorful taste~ My partner is a cilantro lover 🌿 and really enjoys flatbread wraps~ So we had to order the cilantro chicken flatbread wrap for them 📝~ The crispy flatbread is stuffed with fresh cilantro... I was a bit horrified, but they were thrilled 😫~ The shredded chicken has a spicy kick 🌶, making it quite refreshing~ They’re currently offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal on beer 🍻, which is perfect for sharing a drink with friends~ Unfortunately, my partner doesn’t drink, so I ordered a lychee lemon whiskey 🍋 instead, which has a sweet and tangy flavor that’s quite nice~ Plus, watching the chef grill skewers by the stove makes the food taste even better~ 📍Limited Life Skewer Restaurant 3/F, Hotel Hart, 4 Hart Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
