Uluwatu

When visiting Uluwatu, it felt like a waste to just look at the ocean and leave, so I decided to take a leisurely stroll through the streets. Walking aimlessly in slippers gave me such a pleasant feeling 🌿. Along the main road, there are surf shops, cafes, local restaurants, and souvenir stores clustered together. Here and there, you’ll find people resting under the shade of trees, travelers passing by on motorbikes, and the overall scenery just felt quintessentially 'Bali' 🛵. Thanks to Indonesia's unique laid-back atmosphere, my walking pace naturally slowed down. The sunlight was strong, but the humidity wasn’t high, so even sweating didn’t feel unpleasant ☀️. I sat under the shade of a tree in front of a cafe, enjoyed an iced latte, walked a bit more, and browsed through charming local shops—having no clear purpose made the experience all the more enjoyable. Especially around sunset, the sky turns a beautiful orange hue, and the entire street takes on a romantic vibe. People start gathering on the paths leading to the beach, and shops begin to light up one by one. The street’s simplicity and lack of chaos made it even more memorable. 📍 Uluwatu Street – Jl.
