The best part? Walking around the beautifully lit streets of the city center, especially near Stephansplatz and the Hofburg, where people were dressed in creative costumes, and the atmosphere felt festive. The public Halloween events are free, but if you’re into haunted houses, there are a few that charge around €10-15 for some extra thrills. I spent the day visiting Vienna’s iconic spots like Schönbrunn Palace and the Belvedere, but by night, I joined in on the Halloween activities, including a themed party at one of the local bars. The mix of Vienna’s rich history with the fun Halloween celebrations made it unforgettable.
