Hectic Senior Travel: Austria, Vienna - 2nd

【St. Peter's Church】 St. Peter's Church is considered the oldest church in Vienna, founded in the early Middle Ages. The current building was renovated in the 18th century in Baroque style. Near the skylight at the back of the building, there is a magnificent pipe organ. Organ concerts are held daily at St. Peter's Church from 3 PM for about an hour. Although the exterior may not reveal much, the interior is incredibly lavish and gorgeous! The dazzling gold decorations are truly overwhelming. Since it’s close to St. Stephen's Cathedral, it’s definitely worth a visit! The church is not crowded, allowing you to enjoy the sound of the pipe organ while taking your time to admire the surroundings. Highly recommended! St. Peter's Church Peterspl. 1, 1010 Wien, Austria
