Floating Island of Flowers, Rebun Island

Rebun Island does not have an airport. The only way to get there is by ferry. From Wakkanai to Kafuka Port: approx. 1 hour 55 minutes From Oshidomari on Rishiri Island to Kafuka Port: approx. 40 minutes Access is a little less convenient than Rishiri Island, which has an airport. However, there are plenty of local specialties (sea lion meat buns, skewers, kelp buns, etc.), souvenir lineups, and accommodations! People actually visited Rebun Island on a trip, fell in love with its charm, and moved there with their families. Many people opened shops or became fishermen. You cannot drive around the island. You can enjoy a luxurious adult holiday, spending your time looking at the sea and strolling through the hills without worrying about cars.
