Weihai Dongshan Hotel - A highly cost-effective seaside hotel

As a state guesthouse in Weihai, it has two buildings open for accommodation: the Business Building and the Guest Reception Building, separated by a small ground parking lot. The former has a budget hotel style with smaller rooms and lower prices, offering side sea views. The latter was newly renovated last year, resembling a star-rated hotel with larger rooms, slightly obstructed sea views, and all sea-view rooms feature balconies. The room facilities are simple, with a minibar in the hallway and a large full-length mirror. The beds are firm, the sofa appears convertible into a sofa bed, and there’s a small round table with a chair. A movable clothing rack with wheels is provided, which can be placed on the balcony for drying clothes. The balcony door opens outward and has a retractable screen door. There’s also an openable electric window on top with a mosquito screen. The shower and toilet are on either side of the vanity, which has limited storage space. The toilet is equipped with an electric bidet seat. The Korean restaurant in the hotel serves delicious food with quality ingredients and good service. A short walk downstairs leads to the Haiyuan Park trail, where you can easily reach the seaside. It’s also close to the Four-Eyed Tower and the World War I Chinese Laborers Memorial Hall. The area is quiet with few tourists, and even with the balcony door open, the room remains peaceful.
