Just Okay – Needs Improvement in Cleanliness and Comfort

We recently stayed at Novotel and found the experience to be just okay. When we arrived, the kids’ bed hadn’t been made, and with only one staff member on duty, we had to go out while he sorted it. There was hair on my bed, and the mattress was quite hard and uncomfortable. The kids’ sofa bed wasn’t much better—they could feel the springs popping through. We also noticed rubbish behind the door, which highlighted a lack of attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness. As for breakfast, we didn’t bother booking it after seeing how poor the vegan options were. Overall, the stay was manageable, but the hotel would really benefit from better mattresses, improved cleanliness, and more inclusive breakfast options.
