|Huishan Clay Figurines (1424). Wuxi Clay Figurines, also known as Huishan Clay Figurines, are a traditional art form in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, and one of the national intangible cultural heritages. Huishan Clay Figurines are a type of colored clay sculpture produced in Huibei, Wuxi. It originated in the Ming Dynasty, developed in the Qing Dynasty, and has a history of more than 400 years. Huishan Clay Figurines are divided into two categories: coarse and fine. Their shapes are concise and full, the lines are smooth and fast, the colors are bright and eye-catching, and the ideas are clever and meticulous. The works are mostly children's toys and display items, and the representative works include 'Hand Pinch Opera' and 'Big A Fu'. On May 20, 2006, Wuxi Clay Sculpture (Huishan Clay Figurines) was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
