Xiamen’s main attraction is casualness, and we actually found a few little surprises!

If you are lucky, you can see the sunset along the way and walk half around Gulangyu Island. 2️⃣ Wu Tang ≠ Wu Tang Shacha Noodles is here! First of all, there is only one Wutang store. Wutang is a chain store. There is one in almost every busy area. The business is pretty good. We got up early on purpose to pay the IQ tax for Wutang😊. Maybe the locals only eat the basic ones. My friend and I insisted on adding various abalone and seafood. One bowl costs 98😂. Of course, I have to say that it is still very delicious. If you go late, you will have to wait in a longer line😄, and some ingredients will be out of stock. 3️⃣ Let’s go on the mountain and sea health trail! It's really long. We didn't finish the whole trail because we were in a hurry. It's said that the whole trail takes more than 3 hours, and it's not easy to find the exit. Once you get on the trail, you have to grit your teeth and walk the whole way. It's a very physical and endurance-intensive task. Reserve enough time and bring some drinks. There are not many vending machines inside. 4️⃣ No more going to the bookstore! It’s really the most beautiful bookstore in Xiamen! Later I found out that it is actually the most beautiful bookstore in China. It has been open for 15 years and is a real cultural and tourism IP. Fortunately, I didn’t miss it! Right by the beach, it's a perfect combination of coffee, books and community. Most of the books are in foreign languages, and there are interactive community activities every week. You can also sit outside and take pictures. There are three floors, and of course coffee, desserts and light meals are very creative, but the taste is actually average. People who come here mainly take pictures, check in, read books and participate in activities. 5️⃣ The rest are classic ones such as Shapowei, Zengcuoan, Nanputuo Temple, Xiamen University (reservation is required in advance), and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. 6️⃣ There are too many hotel options in Xiamen, ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand. It depends on your budget. You can choose according to your mood.
